@RSRS_OA #30DAYMAPCHALLENGE We invited some participants in the #30DayMapChallenge to submit their work to indicate what kinds of graphics would be appropriate for the issue, but the call is *open to anyone* with a regional graphic of interest.

@RSRS_OA SUBMISSION PROCEDURES Please refer to the call for papers for details but make sure that you indicate that your submission is for the special issue by selecting the Regional Graphics option from the dropdown menu.

@RSRS_OA PEER REVIEW *All submissions will be subject to double-blind peer review* by subject matter and graphics experts in the field. This process takes approximately 3 weeks after which you will receive feedback from at least two reviewers and an editor.

@RSRS_OA FEES (cont) There is *no additional charge* for submitting more than one image/graphic in a single article or for having more than one author.

@RSRS_OA FEES The journal is *all open access*: all papers will be free to view. As is standard for OA pubs, submissions will be subject to an APC of $600/£460/€530/AUD805. This is payable *only if* your submission is accepted.

@RSRS_OA IMAGE/GRAPHIC FORMATS We accept submissions with pretty much any type of embedded image. We can also process gifs, though you will have to submit those as "supplemental material" or break it down by frame for review.
