Dr. McGeeney points out the low quality evidence about headache triggers. Based on personal experience, he thinks chocolate is a common trigger, however. What do you think? #HCNEStowe22

So Much More Than a Headache is an alternative to medical writing and self-help books, a resource for those who have underestimated the depth of writing on this subject and challenges the cultural bias that dismisses migraine as “just a headache.” Now available on Amazon.

For people living with disabling #headache disorders, the needle that needs to be moved most urgently is toward equity... My views on #migraine stigma and advocacy imperatives (open-access): https://t.co/JXfMD3Z8jd For instance, the relentless @NIH under-funding is fixable.

Like many medical practices, the Graham Headache Ctr will be closed this week and next. Providers are handling messages, refilling prescriptions and conducting virtual and telephone visits from home. We will resume in-office visits as soon as it is safe to do so. Please stay safe

At this afternoon's women's health session, @KTHamiltonMD points out the discrepancy between 1) mounting evidence for safe use of triptans during pregnancy and 2) provider discomfort in using it. Is this an evidence dissemination problem? #migraine in #women #AHSAZ
