Wow look all that so many habitats. Added bonus massive reduction in peak runoff into that stream(burn). Natures flood defence.

Essential that flooding, sewage and agricultural run off are brought under one policy. However without paying farmers doing it the right way a fair price, how can we expect them to preserve the eco system and deliver sustainable food. Can’t help but think about Supermarkets role?
3. But, horrendous as it is, sewage pollution is just the second biggest of the threats they face. The biggest (sorry) is farming. Both farm pollution and physical assaults on their structure through drainage, dredging, straightening and degradation of their upland catchments.

Sewage in sea & rivers is a big topic at the moment. As well as writing to MP’s, signing petitions there is a £28 solution. The water butt! Although this is a positive change we can make water companies still need to step up & take action. https://t.co/JuyrXpzpqL

Earlier this year, southern England experienced its driest July on record. The drought affected many parts of the UK and grew so acute that Thames Water’s hosepipe ban will remain in force into 2023.

I’ve received this letter (dated 23rd March FTAOD) from PETA urging me to encourage all coaches, commentators and rowers to replace the phrase “catching a crab” which they believe normalises hurting animals with an animal-friendly alternative. They suggest “liberating a lobster”
