@ConOfOurGen @Architectolder @FRANKCUNHAIII @Trad_West_Art @ArchitectureTud @amazingarchii @glass_zealot The house which I live in, in Old Town Hastings. Built 1648. (I’ve had it tree ring dated.) Tourists peer in the windows. Has resident death watch beetle. Jolly cold in winter as there’s not a whole lot of insulation. I love it!

You’ve provided a meme on the Banksy mural. The blank placard of Banksy is an ambiguity. I don’t think Banksy is putting forward a simplistic view, as many are asserting.

The Banksy mural on the Royal Court of Justice was covered up but it’s uncovered this evening.

I’m aboard a London bus so stuck in traffic I wonder if the wheels are welded to the pavement. @tfl why aren’t you diverting 26 via Threadneedle St?

Our striking London Underground drivers have mega salaries, short working weeks, gold plated pensions and perks galore, and they are causing misery to Londoners because they want still more.

The Waterloo and City line is a one-stop London Underground with tracks that don’t connect with other underground lines. On underground strike day it seems to me that this is the prime candidate for the first driverless underground trains.

There’s an issue with rail reliability. Richmond is only 19 minutes from Waterloo with very frequent trains BUT I was delayed out & now 25 min wait at Richmond station. Marathon!

I’m on a super overcrowded train stuck on the line in the full sun. Waterloo to Richmond is not fun today!

Island counties Orkney and Shetland are further north than Caithness. Of the non-island counties, Ross & Cromarty includes the island of North Rona, which is well to the north of Caithness. It seems hard to defend the description of Caithness as northernmost. Three are further

Now a “disruption” to the performance @Sadlers_Wells and it has stopped. I assume it’s a technical glitch.

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe @Sadlers_Wells is entertaining and a lot of fun. It’s top end of my expectations.

A first year medical student checked the man and gave a very clear précis to the paramedics. She was effective. A couple of other passers by stopped. Tesco were keen that it should be me and not them who rang 999.

The 999 operator told me that the ambulance could not get through the demo, and gave up, with the ambulance service sending one for the other direction. An observation is that a Palestine demo such as this is putting lives at risk. I don’t think it’s acceptable.

Called an ambulance to Tesco Dean St (Oxford St) for a man who fell flat on his back very heavily with some sort of fit. I think he’s okayish as he walked to the ambulance. The ambulance was delayed getting there by a demo.
