Tourists peer in the windows. Has resident death watch beetle. Jolly cold in winter as there’s not a whole lot of insulation. I love it!

A shocker is the typos in the labels of @NationalGallery - it should be Newcastle-upon-Tyne and grew to BE among.

Excepts from the Messiah at Clement Danes this evening showcased impressive voices. Superb! It’s a shame the audience was not bigger.

At this evening’s production of the Messiah at the start of Hallelujah Chorus I stood. No one else did. I remained standing. George II started this tradition, and for me standing shows respect for the performers of the story of our Messiah.

Three very impressive voices this evening, and a super selection delivered with stage presence.

I’m at St Mary le Strand this evening for A Night at the Opera by Candlelight. It’s an hour of very well known arias with a glass of Prosecco.

Wendy and Peter Pan this evening has proved to be very good. It combines a message with some super scenery and special effects.

Barbican Theatre to my London flat is less than a mile but so unsafe I’ve walked the other way. Now I need the underground. I’m on the Northern line at Moorgate, change at Bank. It’s crazy.

The snag is getting to the Barbican Centre. At 6.15pm the Highwalk was dark and felt unsafe. I’m not going to use either that or the Moor St tunnel to leave after the performance, so it will be walk to Moorgate, completely the wrong g way.

This one is different. I’m at the Barbican Theatre for Wendy and Peter Pan. I could say “not my thing” but it’s had super reviews.
