Hate paying fees? We invite all VT students to come write cards to the people who want to raise our fees next year, like the Board of Visitors and VT's finance executives. Friday, November 3 from 4-7 pm in the Newman library coffee shop. Supplies, info & snacks provided!

Today we're announcing the Virginia Tech Graduate Labor Union (VT GLU), a union for graduate workers at Virginia Tech, on the same day as UCW-VT (a faculty/staff union). Come to our rally at 1pm today to celebrate, learn more, and sign up. #GLUtProsim #WeveGotYourBack

This is actually the THIRD story we have gotten about mold issues in rentals that caused serious health problems for grad students.

I saw a whole year of grad students protesting and asking to remove the fees and/or increase our salary, and what we got was a “fuck you”.
The grads are not okay. As always we are still taking stories for people who want to share them.
