Funded through a Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship (FLAS) grant, Angela Corsa, Ph.D student traveled to Ecuador! There she studied Kichwa with local indigenous communities at the Andes and Amazon Field School located at the Iyarina Research Station in Napo province.

Don Unger, Ph.D. student conducted field work across the Navajo Nation, visiting uranium mine and mill reclamation sites with the Navajo Abandoned Mine Lands Reclamation Department, and delved into related textual research at the regional National Archives in Broomfield, CO.
