pleased to share that I have now received an email stating the POH hustings will be held 6:30pm on Sunday 15th Feb. that said, holding them halfway through the voting period when a lot of people will have already voted is disappointing and doesn’t seem to make a lot of sense…
voting opens in 3hrs and there is still no confirmation of any public office holder hustings, despite my requests last week to the RO. I am looking forward to earning the trust and vote of our membership, who deserve to be able to make an informed choice based on an open debate

representation isn’t optional. that’s why our slate includes teachers, trade unionists, and train drivers like Mel. It also spans different ages, backgrounds, and lived experiences. leadership should represent the membership!

The Grassroots Left wants total transparency with how members' money and data is being used for these elections. We emailed the Your Party Returning Officer on the 2nd February but have received no response. Our proto-branches, members and candidates deserve more respect.
