The physical and emotional aspects of anxiety are so intertwined that by soothing the physical, it naturally lowers the emotion. Great tips @BlurtAlerts!

Self-soothing, lowering the amount of information hitting us at any one time, slowing our breathing, exercise (where appropriate), a balanced diet, and a regular sleep schedule can all help us to manage the physical anxiety symptoms we feel.

I see a lot of kids actually preferring school at home, particularly those with anxiety, but I worry that increased optionality around attending school will contribute to their avoidance and ultimately their anxiety.
