They are not in good company.

Today, in the United States of America, more than a few Republican Members of Congress have their own Big Lie: that their candidate actually won the 2020 Presidential election.

…because Putin cannot tolerate body bags returning to Moscow, disproving his Big Lie.

Putin, like Stalin before him, is taking out his paranoia on his own people. Millions died in Stalin’s gulags in Siberia. Today, we read that some Russian soldiers who are wounded or killed in Putin’s war in Ukraine are left to die where they fall…

This is not the action of a confident leader. This is the action of a paranoid leader.

Putin is waging a full-scale war on Ukraine, but has decreed that all citizens of Russia must live a colossal lie: that there is no “war” at all. Failure to parrot this Big Lie is now punishable by fifteen years in prison in Russia.

“War is peace,” declared Big Brother in George Orwell’s satirical novel, 1984. Big Brother was based on the Russian leader Joseph Stalin, but there is an eerie parallel with Russia’s current leader, Vladimir Putin.

Donald Trump insists Vice-President Pence can "reject" Electors. He's just wrong. My statement:

.@realDonaldTrump, you are just wrong. The Electoral Count Act of 1887 states that the VP shall “preside” over the EC vote count. Mike Pence doesn’t even have a vote. IF he objects, it will likely be duly noted, ruled out of order, and the majorities in Congress will proceed.

Today, despite all the histrionics, voters in Georgia will elect two US Senators, and this week, in the face of threats and intimidation, Congress will ultimately count the Electoral College votes and confirm @JoeBiden as our next President. The system works when Americans vote.
