I was saddened to read about Tom Verlaine’s death over the weekend. For the 16 year old me, my musical tastes transitioning from the Stones to the Pistols and onto the Clash, Television’s masterpiece LP’s Marquee Moon and Adventure were a revelation. 1/3

@GordSinclairMus My wife and I flew from Austin to Syracuse & then rented a car and drove it to Kingston so we could be "in the house." We HAD to be there to see our favorite band one more time. It was effectively a spiritual experience for us. Elation and tears. 8/20/16 will always be with us.
