Happy to see the newest collaborative project of our neighbor @dudin_o (@epflSV @EPFL_en) out! Great work of @HiralABShah together with @Dey_Gautam and @SchwabYannick . Look at these stunning images of #Ichthyosporea!.
Thrilled to see our work in co with @Dey_Gautam & @SchwabYannick and spearheaded by @HiralABShah finally out. LINK🚨 : Buckle up for a quick 🧵about why this story is a game changer for #Ichthyosporeans & beyond

We are proud to see our former lab member Niccolò continuing his career with his own group @Group_Banterle at @EMBLHeidelberg !.We wish you all the best and are looking forward to some amazing research!.
Welcome to EMBL, Niccolò Banterle!. The new group leader will use gene editing and microscopy to decipher the functions of centrioles – small subcellular structures involved in cell division, motility, and signalling.

Proud of this project together with @SchwarzUlrich , @GFantner, & @graeter_mbm!.Real-time observation of #SAS6 ring #formation using #HSAFM combined with #simulation allows us to understand better the onset of #centriole #assembly!.Niccolo Banterle recruits now at @EMBLHeidelberg.
(1/n) So happy to be part of this wonderful interdisciplinary collaboration with @GonczyLab, @GFantner lab and @graeter_mbm lab on the early stages of centriole assembly now out in @NatureComms

Check out our latest paper in @NatureComms. @GeoHatzopoulos and @kuekensh developed monobodies that can be used as molecular levers to alter SAS-6 ring assembly. Read the full story Thanks to @hantschel_lab and @GFantner labs for the great collaboration.

C. elegans first embryonic division has a striking volumetric asymmetry. @RJankele followed the link between asymmetric divisions and successful embryonic development. Together with @RobJelier we published this story in @eLife.

Happy to see this work finally out in @elife!.Great work together!.
It is exciting to finally see our TRIM37 work published in @eLife. TRIM37 prevents formation of centriolar protein assemblies by regulating Centrobin. My congratulations to all coauthors for their contribution to this story 👇.

Now out on bioRxiv: our colleague's Ph.D. paper.Well done @RJankele.
Finally, my Ph.D. paper is out on bioRxiv. We explain why physically asymmetric cell size arising from the first embryonic division matters, at least for roundworm embryos. Big thanks to @GonczyLab and @RobJelier for a great collaboration!
