And so we said our big Good-bye and Thank You to everyone who contributed to growth and care of our children in Goldfinch. It has been an amazing journey and we hope and wish you all the best in the future.

On Tuesday we celebrated wonderful talents and held the final round of our Goldfinch’s Got Talent competition. Our children sang, danced and showed wonderful choreography leading to an ultimate victory. Congratulations to all our finalists. You were brilliant! #welovearts

On Wednesday, children in Year 1 started our competition of Goldfinch’s Got Talent. We found our first finalist! Congratulations to all our semifinalists! It was a tough decision. #weloveart #welovemusic

On Wednesday our Year 5 and The Goldfinch Choir took part in DET concert at Elmgreen School. It was a great success! Congratulations to everybody who took part. A memory to treasure forever. #welovemusic

Today Ms. Wilkinson came to our school and we were listening to her story about the colours of Easter. At the end, we came out with a beautiful rainbow, meaning new beginnings. It was lovely assembly full of songs and reflection. Thank you.

Today was really eventful at our school. We finished our day with Holi assembly, celebrating colours and reminding ourselves what this special festival is about. Thank you Mr. Nabhinandan for coming and making our day so colourful.

Blackbirds had a lot of fun completing a school network scavenger hunt in computing. We found our server, network switches, wireless devices and wireless access point and began to understand how these different devices work together to create our school computer network.

There is nothing better than a great celebration assembly with good songs and achievements that rock our school. We are very proud of all our learners and we can’t wait to see them back after half term holidays. Have a great time and do not forget to stay active and safe!

At the end of this term we tried various things in music sessions. From singing solos, duets, trying to hold and play various instruments, to listen to and express our own thoughts and emotions about the music we hear. #welovemusic @artsmatter
