I have decided it is time to officially announce I am stepping awy from all things VALORANT and my involvement in Esports. I have made some amazing friends and met some amazing people. You can consider this my retirement form @ValorantEire and @LiquipediaVAL 🧵.

I'm not sure how to end this (and I'm sure I forgot people), so just . thank you to everyone who is working so, so hard to make Esports a better place. It's devasting seeing some of the news out there, but I know the individuals here are commited to the betterment of it all <33.

@LiquipediaVAL was a massive project of mine, joining with very little organised efforts on the site, to becoming a reviewer and guiding policy and coverage has completely shaped my experience in esports. Rules lawyering Riot is still one of my favourite memories.🤓 .Thank u all.

@FridgecakeBear - Most people don't realise the work that goes on behind the scene, and going from being a fledgling community to organising Riot Qualifier tournaments and having your support has been tremendous, thank you for taking a chance on us from the bottom of my heart.

@Kronik_IE @CaoimheOSulli15 - Thank you to the people who make everything @ValorantEire possible, nobody knows just how much work goes into it, and Im sure its in good hands going forward. V.Éire has been a 2nd home for so many people, myself included. Thank you 💚.

@JackIgoe retsol @ronanmonTTV - probably the people who originally got me inspired and interested in esports and tournaments as a whole, it cannot be understated the effect the Collegiate system has had on Irish val and the esports roots that have sprung from it 💚.

I want to thank so many people who have been supportive of everything I've done and have helped me build, or built with me some of the pillars of Irish and North valorant, hopefully this list isn't too long < 3.

I want to preface this by saying a mix of factors both personal and systemic have led to this decision, up until 2025 VALO and my involvement in it was probably my favourite thing I could think of, however the turns the ecosystem and community is taking (or has taken) change that.

Like, I fully respect @seangares but this truly feels disrespectful to both his and our community. Anybody who knows me, knows I despite cheating and all malfeasance, but this video was not the conclusive bombshell it was said to be, and to blame others for that is weird. (3/3).

Saying "but i posted what i believed to be true" is extremely dubious . does this mean he is now doubting his own video and allegations against aspiring professional players? . Also blaming r/ValComp mods for putting his PREMIERING video as a live thread is mad cope. (2/3).

This is such an insane comment from Sean Gares, no? . "Bots and bad actors" controlled the narrative of HIS video??? No, your video was unsubstantive and lacked any conclusive proof (or really much circumstantial proof lol) despite Sean hyping it up as the doomsday of VALO .(1/3)

The things the Valorant community could’ve had and done if we had any balls :( . Valorant community can’t even decide if human rights abuses are bad, nevermind whether to boycott events funded by them. Well done GeoGuessr community, putting every other esport to shame.
