There have been some nice bits of work from the team to support some of the technical aspects of this new module. Always good to be supporting new initiatives.

Day 3 of #MootIEUK23. Excited to hear what Martin Dougiamas (@Moodler) is going to say in this morning's keynote. And then grabbing a coffee before the OU's own @tim_hunt shows us how to write better Behat tests.

This was just a small selection of what was being done. And the planned development of XR Studios will give even more options. Thanks again to our colleagues for a great tour (and apologies for any science based mistakes I’ve made in the tweets - was a lot to take in!)

And wind tunnels. You can control wind tunnels, carrying out a range of experiments, including comparing the aerodynamic properties of different car models.

How about a week long Rover mission on ‘Mars’? Each member of the crew for this well equipped rover has special responsibilities and gets realistic results that are truly dependent on the decisions they, as a team, make.

How would you fancy mapping the spiral arm of the galaxy using a radio telescope? OU students can even manoeuvre this, and get the results, on their phone.

What does online learning look like? We were lucky enough to be invited by our friends at @OpenSTEMLabs to have a look at some of the great remote online learning they’re supporting.

If you're a creative person with an in-depth knowledge of digital and web design why not have a look at the User Experience Designer role that's available in our Online Student Experience team? https://t.co/SbxNuoyGlv

This is exciting as it's not often we advertise a Senior Product Development Manager role. But if you have the skills and enthusiasm, and want to work at the forefront of online learning in Higher Education in the UK, then we'd love to hear from you. https://t.co/ZmoOfOAENu

It’s been a while, but we’re back with a drop-in session where OU staff can chat to us about all things learning experience and technology. This is a hybrid session with an online session available or you can catch us in the Hub on campus until 2pm.
