There's a much stronger argument that Italy saved jews of BiH, not Bosniak Muslims. Bosniak muslims often profited off jewish misery trying to get out of Sarajevo to escape to Italian lines - while Bosniak muslims were 30-50% of ustase soldiers in what is today BiH.

"Bosniak muslims saved jews in what is today BiH" No there's levels and degrees of interpretation here. And this argument is nonsensical when the one of the most infamous units of the ustase was majority bosniak muslim.

I don't know why the jewish world focuses so much on the 13th waffen SS. Most jews in that area were dead by 1944. The black legion is really neglected historically in jewish historiography.

@20nine7teen huh I did find this. I feel like a doctor doesn't remotely count either. I also question how long they were allowed to serve either.
A special ID for Reserve Medical Sergeant Moise Herลcovici, a Jewish soldier serving with a sanitary company, dated 22 August 1941. This is unusual because most of the few Jews retained by the Romanian Army were demobilized soon after the war started 2 months earlier.

@20nine7teen I can't find anything on any jewish soldiers(Not counting labor companies) in romanian/hungarian/bulgarian/italian armies. I think that's literally it. This is the only real example in all of ww2. Could be wrong.
