The Angels Trumpet flower is beautiful, but highly toxic too: All parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested & can cause severe hallucinations, paralysis, and even death. Even touching them is unwise, since the sap can irritate the skin.

● The economic damage done by leaving the EU has become clear. ● Disillusionment with Brexit is widespread & growing numbers of people would like the UK to rejoin. ● Will this become one of the key issues in the next General Election - and if so, which parties will benefit?

Good move? The EU’s top court has ruled that all member states must recognize same-sex marriages legally performed in other EU countries, saying refusal violates EU law and the rights to free movement and family life.

It costs £3.40 to send a card from the UK to mainland Europe, but only $2.00 from the USA. Doesn’t seem right, does it?

In the time it takes @NetworkRail to repair a poorly maintained footbridge, China can build hundreds, even thousands, of kilometers of railway in six months, especially high-speed rail (HSR), with figures suggesting around 2,500 km every six months...

I wonder when this shop in Lagos last checked its inventory. Stock control appears to be something of an issue...

The Portuguese port of Lagos was the starting point for many voyages of exploration - including the one which led to the naming of the Nigerian capital. The historic centre is largely pedestrianised, and the city boasts some fantastic street art.

Lisbon's Sete Rios coach terminal is the largest in the Portuguese capital, but @Flixbus has no access to it. The terminal is operated by rivals @RedeExpressos, which despite a court ruling in May, still refuses to give "fair & non-discriminatory access", so passengers suffer.

Hmm. Just booked a hotel for a future trip to Rome. Surprised to learn that (despite my 'Genius' status), @bookingcom was more expensive & offered far less choice than @Expedia - particularly if you pay in US dollars.
