As much as I want to come back to work — and I think I’m ready emotionally — I just have too much to do preparing for a funeral on Wednesday. It’s been a crazy confluence of events. I was staying at my Moms as we were moving, I caught a bad case of Covid and then my Mom passed.

Probably oversharing but this is the kind of thing my Mom would have loved. As we’re finally starting to move in, we got Isabella’s room ready (still have to pictures up) & Jess wanted to do a big reveal. My Mom bought new bedding for Isabella, Kelsie and Dylan. Thank you Mom.

Survived my first polar plunge. Still shivering but was an awesome event as they raised over $87,000 for Virginia Special Olympics. My co-emcee Michelle is a Special Olympics athlete who swims the 100 meter IM. She crushed it.
