Due to heavy rain and predicted snowfall, Glacier National Park is implementing a temporary road closure of the alpine sections of Going-to-the-Sun Road. Learn more from the press release here:

Going-to-the-Sun Road is now fully open for the 2025 season. Visitors will be able to drive the entire 50-mile length of the road, and access Logan Pass from both West Glacier and St. Mary Entrances.

The full length of Going-to-the-Sun Road is expected to open to motorized vehicles Monday, June 16, for the 2025 summer season. Learn more here:

GNP will implement a pilot timed entry vehicle reservation system in 2025, from June 13 - Sept. 28, for the west side of Going-to-the-Sun Road and the North Fork. Reservations will be required from 7 am to 3 pm. For more information visit
