Yo gimana tidak bleduk'en, ruang terbuka hijau masih kurang, ketergantungan kendaraan pribadi tinggi, tidak ada transportasi umum, pedestrian area pun kurang. Belum lagi polusi dari industri dan lain-lain.
Tinggal di Malang Raya itu sejuk, udaranya segar. Realita, naik ke Mbocek-Karangploso, lihat ke arah Malang, tampak kabut abu yg nyaris mirip kota besar pada umumnya. Tidak separah Surabaya, apalagi Jakarta. Sepertinya butuh reboisasi. @infomalang @yusufgunawan

Bukan adu nasib sih, hanya memaparkan fakta. Namun masih ada harapan saya untuk upgrade jalur ke double track, elektrifikasi persinyalan dan wesel. Kalau soal kuota PSO saya jujur belum memahami lagi.

Kami pengguna kereta api Malang-Surabaya PP wajib hukumnya untuk war tiket, khususnya pas weekend dan libur panjang. Soalnya dalam hitungan jam, tiket bisa ludes, termasuk kereta ekspresnya. So, tidak ada istilah pesan mendadak untuk kereta api Malang-Surabaya PP.

Warga Jabodetabek dan sekitarnya mungkin sudah tidak asing lagi dengan Nambo si Rock Bottom. Keretanya datang 1-2 jam sekali kan ya. Saya pernah naik kok. Namun bila dibandingkan kereta Mlg-Sby PP yang hanya 5-7 kali pp termasuk ekspresnya dengan demand super tinggi, jelas beda.
update perjalanan di gapeka baru ada penambahan perjalanan Nambo Line, tapi.... dengan 2x kereta lewat per jam stasiunnya jadi sepi gak ada gerai penjual snack/minuman di St. Pondok Rajeg, potensi non-farebox revenue jadi hilang

Lack of public transportation also leads into several problems of Malang: - Traffic congestion - Air Pollution - High transportation cost (mostly for one who doesn't have private vehicle) and yes, - PARKING (you always discuss about this, right?)

Not only about the angkots, but some citizens also believe that roads in Malang are generally so narrow that bus cannot enter. HELLO? Look at this Aachen bi-articulated bus! I guess there are still many roads in Malang city wider than this.

Okay, now Greater Malang (Malang Raya) govts are planning to create a bus line from Hamid Rusdi Terminal to Batu City. That seems convincing, right? However, things are always getting more complicated when they come to Malang 😅😭 I hope they'll discuss well ✨

Fun fact, shared taxi a.k.a angkot is NOT A PUBLIC TRANSIT. A public transit should: - have certain lines and stops - have a certain cost - run in a certain schedule and headway - can be used for all kind of people The first and third requirements aren't fulfilled yet.

And Malang... Even the number of conventional shared taxi (angkot or locally mikrolet) is decreasing every year. From the former 25 lines, now the remaining lines are just 17. For the remaining routes, this is the link to get closer about Malang angkots:

I don't want to go deeper but let's just see another cities: - Surakarta has 6 bus lines and 7 feeder lines. - Banda Aceh has 6 bus lines and 8 feeder lines - Palu and Donggala has 4 Trans Palu lines and 3 Trans Donggala lines - Banjarbakula region even has 3 kind of bus lines
