Very much true to some places. Without settling on outdated bathrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor we’d be looking at paying an additional million or two.
If you're out there struggling trying to buy a house settle for the outdated kitchen and bathrooms. Yes you read that correctly. I was almost 50 years old before I got to enjoy an updated kitchen. And our bathrooms are still 1975. Wouldn't have been able to get the house

I was so productive today- I could really lean into this SAHM life. Cleaned the bedroom, master bath, and my closet. Did Pilates and lunch with my neighbor. Made lunch for the rest of this week (chicken shawarma w/ cucumber salad & a feta/banana pepper dip) & dinner (lamb chops)
