I’m sure Cait is a nice person, but she stands for absolutely nothing far as I can tell. Nice to see Peter taking a position - one I agree with, btw - while Cait and Beth wait for the DNC to tell them what position to take on the issue(s).
And the gloves come off in NY-17! Progressive Peter Chatzky calls on Schumer to step down from leadership. It puts @CaitforNewYork (one of the DCCC favorites) in an awkward position: buck the establishment and join suit, or spend the next year defending Schumer’s baggage.

This stunning debut from criminal lawyer Malcolm Kempt finds Sgt. Elderick Cole exiled to the remote Arctic hamlet of Cape Dorset after making critical mistakes in a sensitive murder case on the Canadian mainland. It’s a knockout. @CrownPublishing

This story is way more entertaining than MI: DEAD RECKONING. Do yourself a favor and give it a read.
I accidentally broke into Charles Darwin’s garden while reporting this story but we didn’t even have room to get into what all happened that day in the final draft because it was only incidentally related to the central mission (happy to explain in person)

A knockout essay that doesn’t pull any punches. Now that I’m all out of puns, just dive in (I’ll see myself out). Side note: #Rocky III was the worst of the original five movies - even worse than the one with Tommy Gunn. Anyone else agree/disagree?

The story, depending on the teller, varies in its details, but is no less legendary for it. Jack Johnson (1878-1946), “The Galveston Giant,” was the first Black world heavyweight boxing champion, h…
