I just had a thought: imagine Dan heng and Blade are around each other and a vidyadhara thinks they are married cause of the jade pendants and they just act really awkwardly and dismiss the idea immediately
whenever dan heng and blade are together makes me wonder if the awkwardness comes from the fact they both wear their jade pendants on plain sight for everyone to see without ever addressing them
