#BREAKING Police arrest Chaima Issa, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison in yesterday’s appeal of the « conspiracy against state » case, as she was taking part of today’s protest. Protesters are currently still marching towards Avenue Habib Bourguiba.

Almost 9 months ago, our press colleague Anas Al-Sharif removed his press vest following the announcement of a ceasefire. And then we saw what happened next. May we ensure the bombs actually end this time. I wish he, and so many more, were here with us.

40 years ago, Israeli warplanes struck the PLO HQ in Hammam Chott, killing dozens. The attack still shapes Tunisian views on Palestine — echoed today in actions like the Maghreb Sumud Flotilla. My first byline for @AP Thank you @metzsam for the support. https://t.co/mqf6YJBbam

New surveillance footage from another boat in the Global Sumud Flotilla shows the exact moment the Family vessel was struck in Tunisian waters. It is worth noting that Tunisia’s National Guard had earlier denied that it was a drone attack despite eye witnesses statements.

UPDATE: The convoy reps are confirmed to be back to the camp’s site after a negotiation session with the BenGhazi government. “We were told to go back from where we came from but for us once we take a step towards Gaza, there’s no turning back,”

Oh btw we haven’t heard a single word from @TnPresidency & @TebbouneAmadjid till now. Hundreds of your citizens (women, children, elderly and entire families) are getting humiliated and facing precarious conditions next door. Maybe time to show sign of life!! نشاله المانع خير 🥲
