It’s no wonder you hardly ever hear back when you write to an agency for representation… I’m just 1 of nearly 10000 spotlight members seeking rep-imagine if they all emailed the same agency! It really is bleak out here tho🥲

Pre-diagnosis I heard ‘You don’t act like you have adhd though’ a lot from my peers. Thats because I’ve spent 24 years learning to mask everything about myself (irony is, so many of the people I know were also doing the same)
One of the things that made it hard to recognize ADHD and Autism in myself is that so much of the criteria focuses on how others view you, and not enough on how you experience being yourself.

Today I quit my job that was making me miserable, booked my Vocal reel, got a job interview for a new job and started making a list of agents to write to. It’s going to be a good week🙏🏻

Remember when I was told by a senior staff member that to work in the industry, I would need to “push my personality” because my “looks and talent are a bit meh” Well I do and so does my imposter syndrome ✌🏻
