To all my broadcast friends - its DAY-tah. Not DAH-tah. A lesson I've learned along the way as well ☺️👍🏽

Fla Governor DeSantis is attending events that require journalists to turn over all of their footage and answer questions about how they will report their stories. What kind of free press is that? What kind of journalism would that be? Sounds like a Kim Jung Un move to me.

Tensions are rising in some states, like Georgia, over the way a number of districts have been redrawn — causing alarm from some voters about who is representing them in D.C.

I grew up watching Robert Hadlock. Had the privilege of learning from him while working as a reporter in my hometown. Such a proud moment to have had him on my show @CNN Today - I'm honored to be here for Robert's final show @KXAN_News Happy Retirement to the very best ✨🎉

Vaccines are one of the greatest achievements in the history of humankind. Perhaps the greatest. The amount of cumulative suffering and death they have prevented is at a magnitude that exceeds the ability of the mind to fully comprehend.

5 yrs ago — one of the worst stories I ever covered. Details started coming in at 4:15aET in the middle of my show. Was in Orlando that evening anchoring from the scene. I remember the mothers/fathers dialing their children’s phones. But no one picked up. Was truly heartbreaking.

The reality is we have a sharp partisan divide in this country. And that divide is largely over reality.

"I want to live in a democratic republic guided by the rule of law. And the truth... I want my country to handle the truth -even, and especially, when it’s ugly. We have no choice but to do that if we want to continue to thrive as a nation." https://t.co/PrMEriUxZ3

Really nails the problem.👇🏽
There are some wonderful exceptions, but there's never been a worse era for political reporting in my lifetime. Just oceans of self important puffery. Vast lack of curiosity. Nobody digs. They pick a "side." And are desperate to be perceived as players vs. reporters. 😐
