My recommendations: Bring back the hand mechanic, it starts every dead ball on the field, except the face-off. Level the playing field. No more motorcycle. Only alternating grip, it’s how the game is played. No more knee down to start, the game is played on two feet.

5. Hand signal levels the playing field rather than adjusting rules, equipment, whistle cadences, blah blah blah. Let the warriors battle and if Chong Li wants to throw powder in Frank Dux’s eyes, the ref can call that.
