2040 #climate target: The European Parliament political groups have just adopted a timeline for the negotiations.- report 25/07.- deadline for amendments 08/09.- Vote in @EP_Environment 23/09.- plenary vote : first session of October.

The European Parliament rejected the request by Renew, the Greens and S&D to use an urgent procedure on the 2040 #climate target. Seems that they didn't counvinced the EPP not to vote with PfE, ESN and ECR.300+, 379-, 8 abstentions.
