The Generator is a new Arts and Cultural Centre opening in 2025 in the middle of England. We want your input to help us create the best possible space for the community. Let us know what you think: How can we make the Generator more accessible to everyone?

Last week we bid farewell to Nick Slater, our Director since December 2006, who has taken early retirement. Nick's legacy will be felt strongly across campus and the town, and all of us here at LU Arts & Radar wish him the very best for his next steps.

Once installed, the steelwork will provide the foundation for our new mezzanine, a crucial expansion aimed at increasing the capacity of The Generator and creating more opportunities for community engagement.

Construction update 🚧 🚧 We just welcomed the arrival of new steelwork on-site, braving the heavy rain. This essential material marks a significant milestone in our ongoing renovations.

A great opportunity to take a tour around Loughborough's oldest church! And while you're there, why not visit @OldRectoryLboro , Unity House, @GeneratorLboro @JTBellfoundry or any of the other buildings that are open, or perhaps take a walk with @Loughlibvol !!
