Yesterday I had the privilege of giving the keynote address at @TAMU’s Student Conference on National Affairs. My message to young people is this: the world is evolving faster than ever before, so we must be ready to respond and adapt when challenges arise.

Earlier today I connected with #Italy’s Chief of Defense, General Luciano Portolano. Our nations are committed to democratic ideals; we will continue to work together to ensure our militaries are prepared for any threats that come our way.

Yesterday I spoke with the Inspector General of the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces about security issues in Sahel and Maghreb. #Morocco is one of our oldest allies; we will continue to support one another in the face of evolving security challenges.

The @USMC continues to demonstrate excellence with the completion of another clean financial audit. As we recognize this milestone, we recommit ourselves to bolstering #marines around the world balancing their commitments to world-class military service and #FiscalResponsibility.

This week we welcomed @PeteHegseth as our new Secretary of Defense. As the Joint Team navigates a rapidly evolving security environment in the coming years, we look forward to working under his leadership to advance the mission of the @DeptofDefense.

The Joint Force recently provided personnel for historic events such as the funeral of the late President Carter, the certification of our election, and the Presidential Inauguration. In times of change, our military does not waver in its commitment to safeguarding our freedoms.
