Today we hosted a visit by Robert Halfon MP, in Workington, in which he chaired a round table discussion with Mark Jenkinson, MP for Workington and local skills providers. The discussion focussed on increasing apprenticeship starts and achievements, both locally and nationally.

Our apprentices have responded to a request for help from the Beacon Cubs of Penrith Scout Group by making a fire pit / BBQ. Despite the cold weather the scouts have been putting the fire pit to good use and say “it's perfect for marshmallows!” Well done to all those involved.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Logan. He will be greatly missed by his Gen2 tutors, apprentices and the Sellafield Team who worked with him on a daily basis. Our deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues at this very difficult time.
