Nurses should be central to the plan, they are essential for delivering high-quality and safe care. We must also address health inequalities, particularly in areas with low early cancer diagnosis rates. We need community engagement that fosters lasting & trusting relationships.

We provided this response to The Sunday Times in response to their story about pressures we have been facing in our emergency department. Care is only provided in corridors as an absolute last resort and we apologise to anyone whose care has not met our usual high standards:

Collecting feedback from patients, families, carers & friends of @WhitHealth to help shape priorities for the Nursing, Midwifery & AHP strategy. So much positive feedback! One patient said their care was considerate & compassionate, others said they and their family felt safe 💙
