Roger was also honoured with a 75th Anniversary of Confederation Medal. These medals have been given to Newfoundlanders and Labradorians who have made significant contributions to their communities and the province over the past 75 years.

This week, we celebrated this incredible accomplishment with him. The Board of Directors presented him with a special framed photo of Gerald Squires' six-piece panel which depict the images of giving and receiving at The Gathering Place.

To help, we are kindly asking for donations of warm blankets, hats, mitts, winter coats, and hand warmers. You can drop off donations at 172 Military Road (next to the Basilica) between 9am and 3pm. #ThankyouForYourKindness.
