GFD responded to a two-alarm commercial structure fire Wednesday evening at Firestone Fibers & Textiles, in Gastonia. Fire crews were able to bring the fire under control in just over one hour. No injuries were reported. Fire has been ruled as unintentional in nature. #GFD

Ladder 1, Rescue 1, Ladder 4, Engine 5, Engine 8 responded to this house fire early this morning on N. Myrtle School Road in Gastonia. No injuries were reported, the cause of the fire has been ruled accidental in nature by the Gastonia Fire Marshal's Office. #GFD

We are currently on the scene of a commercial business fire at 1315 E. Ozark Avenue in Gastonia. The building was vacant at the time of the fire. Ozark Ave is closed in both directions. Cause of the fire is under investigation by the Gastonia Fire Marshals Office. #GFD

We responded to this house fire early this morning on Harrison Avenue in Gastonia. No injuries reported. The Gastonia Fire Marshal’s Office has ruled the fire accidental in nature related to a heater used in the home. #GFD
