🚨 Swansea City now reportedly leading the chase for Wycombe Wanderers striker Richard Kone. Said to have upped their bid to around £4.5m. Wycombe will want to pin down significant add-ons to make the deal worth in excess of £5m in long-term. But other clubs may enter the fray.
As expected, plenty of interest for Wycombe Wanderers striker Richard Kone. Perhaps the biggest close season news would be that of an extended deal. That would at least show commitment from both parties and maximise income from any transfer deal - when that eventually happens 😪

Wycombe striker Richard Kone attracting strong interest from Swansea, Toulouse and Preston. Union Saint Gilloise and Wrexham also tracking 22yo forward. Kone scored 21 goals for L1 side last season. Expected to take over £5m to sign the Ivorian this summer.

Effectively, only two games moved for Wycombe Wanderers due to Sky. Plymouth Argyle and Cardiff City dates and time, no change to original list. Have to feel for Barnsley fans planning on travelling to Adams Park for a 12.30pm kick-off.
Four fixtures have been selected for live broadcast between October and the third round of the FA Cup 📺. The Barnsley, Orient and Plymouth fixtures will be shown on Sky Sports+, while the clash with Cardiff will be live on Sky Sports Football.

🚨 Wycombe Wanderers reported to have bid for Bristol Rovers central defender Connor Taylor. The 23-year-old has been with The Gas for three seasons, initially on loan from Stoke. 3-year deal with Rovers in August 2023 thought to be worth £300k. Probably more to bring him to AP.
I understand Connor Taylor is subject to a bid from Wycombe Wanderers. The bid is far below valuation but player power has spoken. #UTG.
