2/3 Temporary reinstatement is in place along the R446 and L2027. Our crew will return in the coming weeks to complete permanent resurfacing. This project supports Ireland’s growing energy needs and the shift to renewable power.

1/3 Construction is progressing well for a pipeline connection to a new customer power generation plant in Monksland, Co. Roscommon. Pipelaying along the R446 and L2027 (Drum road) near the local schools is now complete.

In July gas demand increased 22% MoM and 8% YoY. In the first coal free month in electricity generation in 40+ years. Gas supplied 51% of electricity in July, peaking at 92% and never falling below 17%. Read more here- #GasDemand #MovingIrelandsEnergy

A Gas Networks Ireland crew is on site assisting fire services at an incident in the IFSC in Dublin 1. It is not yet known at this stage whether the cause of the fire is gas-related.
