These 3 young greenshank dropped into@NWTCleyCentre the other evening, frequently calling and frantically feeding before moving on. Nice to think they were 3 siblings from the same nest heading south together

Lovely couple of hours watching waders at North Point pools, Wells the other day. Highlight when 2 juvy Temminck’s stint appeared although they didn’t stay long, flushed off by a hobby before heading high south. Garganey also in attendance.

Wryneck and blackberries- hopefully there’ll be a few of these in the next few weeks

Popped across to Ranworth Broad to see Norfolk’s first breeding pair of Ospreys. Two healthy youngsters were feeding well

Good year ⁦@CromerPeregrine⁩ with 3 young successfully fledged. Best year since 2019 when they first bred here and also raised 3 young

Spent a couple of evenings back in May with the Red- footed falcons at Carlton Marshes,Suffolk. They deserved a painting

Marsh Warbler, ⁦Cley. Blasting out bursts of bee-eater,blackbird, goldfinch,blue tit, swallow, swift,house sparrow, grey heron and oystercatcher …amongst others

Unaware of an eagle as I got out of the car for my Sunday morning swim …until a passing birder stopped and kindly offered me a lift. 20 minutes later I was watching Booted Eagle soaring over Muckleborough. Many thanks to birders who leant me spare bins and scope views👍

Cley in May is always good for Temminck’s stints but 10 is unprecedented-outnumbered dunlin!. Also 4 wood sands, whimbrel and 3 knot this morning.

Came across 24 buzzards sat on a local potato field that was being prepared by tractors. Huge range of plumages and enjoyed watching them worming.
