His wife Angela was Eddie Jordan’s secretary when I joined Jordan Grand Prix. To her and all the de Ferran family, my thoughts are with you. RIP Gil (2/2)

It was a shock this morning when I heard of the passing of Gil de Ferran. He was only 56 and had so much more to give to up and coming drivers. I knew him on both sides of the pond, and as a person and a racing driver he was, as Mario Andretti says, ‘one of the real ones’ (1/2)

Ferrari's bold sidepod design has caught many by surprise, including our @GaryAndersonF1. But a closer look has given him a new understanding of a design that only appears disjointed. "I’m pretty sure there will be a few evaluating this approach." #F1
