Our number one supporter was missing again today following a fall at home. He remains in hospital but hopefully he will be out by the middle of next week. He has a fractured skull but at present he doesn’t need an operation. Everyone at the club wishes Dick a speedy recovery

GFC are devastated to report the sudden passing of local referee Cliff Trickett. Cliff was a ref for many years in the WLL and other leagues. He has been a great friend to the club over the years and will be missed by all at GFC. Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

Dick has arrived home from hospital. He is overwhelmed by the messages of support and wants to thank everyone for them. He still has a way to go before he is fully recovered. He is hoping to be there on Monday but his wife isn’t too sure!!

Garstang FC are pleased to announce that following a recent inspection of our ground and facilities by Geoff Wilkinson the Grading Chairman of the Hallmark Security League and his compatriot John Deal we have been recommended to be accepted as Grade H.
The ribbons on the Richardson Cup are red tonight as Garstang F.C. lifted the trophy with a 3-0 win against Euxton Villa. Two goals for Alan Coar and one for Ric Coar in a superb all round team performance. Well done and another one to look forward to next week.
Unfortunately at our game on Saturday, Dan Birch was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury after a tackle. Since then, it has been confirmed as a dislocation and triple break.
