A significant milestone has been reached at the Sister Grove Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility Project in McKinney, TX. Initial testing and startup have been completed, the plant is operational, and treated effluent water is now flowing to the outfall.

Once completed, the new pipeline will transport wastewater for advanced treatment at the Nansemond Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Nansemond SWIFT Facility—recharging the Potomac Aquifer and securing Eastern Virginia's drinking water supply.

Another big milestone on the James River. Our Virginia crews have completed the final fusion of 3.5 miles of 54-inch HDPE pipe, finishing the river crossing that will strengthen water infrastructure in the region. Next up: transitioning to the land portion of the pipeline.
