Ongoing progress on lanes improvements. Researched experience of shared road spaces. Discussed cycle lane pros and cons with MSP Kaukab Stewart. Ongoing engagement with Streets for All project Reported problems of the retaining wall at Garnethill Synagogue

Supported local resident to liaise with housing association for housing repairs. Participated in official walk round with local councillors and neighbouring community council. Ongoing links with Glasgow Film Theatre community engagement. Met with St Aloysiusโs new Head Teacher.

Mediating with home owners over building disputes. Attended interview with student for their dissertation regarding volunteering and social activities. Researched the details and rules, and submitted objections to various planning applications.

Contacted local councillor Philip Braat re progressing factoring a local flat. Facilitated meeting to assist Art School students with community based research projects. Arranged survey for local opinion on mural on Renfrew Street. Arranged for LOADS of fly tipping to be uplifted

Reported and arranged uplift of rubbish at the park bin by using the QR code. Liaised with council contact to arrange uplift of bags of rubbish at Tenement house bin. Joined with visit to a property on Buccleuch St with environmental health

Collating results of our survey of residents' views on the area. Organised a clean up combined with social get together. Phoned pest control about rat infestation. Communicated with our link person at the council regarding their inspection visits to Garnethill.

Some community councillors completed a walking tour guide course with the aim to encourage more residents, particular seniors, to participate in weekly walks to reduce isolation and improve health and wellbeing ๐จโ๐ฆฏ๐ถโโ๏ธ. Liaised with community cop to help resolve a neighbour dispute

Enhanced the area & promoted good business links by facilitating hanging baskets at The Wee Curry Shop on Buccleuch St ๐ธ Stocked,watered and tended all railing planters, to improve health and well being in community and improve air quality ๐บ.

Participated in St Aloysius Church food hub, meeting residents in an informal setting. Attended SNP office to reinforce ties between government officials and Community Council. Sent email to community police officer Robert Hill to encourage a local shop owner to review security.

Keeping residents up to date with planning applications and other local issues via social media Reported drainage issues at the Horseshoe. Monitored and raised issues of car idling outside nurseries & schools asking drivers to turn off their engines. Signs in place to enforce

Community link responding to enquiries re rerouting traffic during cycle competition. Applied for area partnership grant to further enhance Garnethill. Hub for organisations wanting to litter pick in the city centre, regularly providing equipment & arranging uplift of bags.

Garnethill Community Councillors have been busy since our June meeting: Posters in every close and main door in Garnethill detailing meeting times, contact details & QR code for survey. Promoted links with businesses by attending the opening of new pottery shop on West Graham St
