Some of our sites have seen a small reduction in evening opening hours and some will be open for a shorter time on Saturdays. Many sites will see no change at all. These changes will save us £200k and we’ve made this choice following consultation with you.

Library and community hub opening hours are changing after you told us when you are most likely to use services. Following consultation most sites now open late on Wednesdays only and some close at 1pm on Saturday. Check the opening hours at yours to be sure.

We need to reduce library and community hub opening hours at the least busy times. We’ll still be open late on Wednesdays and we’ll still be open on Saturdays. This is in response to almost 3000 of you telling us how you use services in a recent consultation.
