You need pressure. Setting a deadline to force you to work, investing in your business to force you to make money, or booking the flight to force you to make a change. Take the risk. Because that's not as risky as a comfortable, boring life.

Let's not underestimate the impacts of our decisions. We need to practice foresight and anticipate not just the 1st but the 2nd and 3rd-order consequences. That's how we can cultivate a life that's not just reactive, but proactive.
