The phrase “one score game” is dumb. An 8-point lead is worth way more than a 1 point lead or even a 7-point lead. If you’re down 7 and get a touchdown, you’re like 98% to tie the game. If you’re down 8 and get a touchdown, you’re 45% to tie the game. It’s a huge difference.
