It was lovely to have a visit from Patricia who volunteered for a month with us a few years ago. She shared these pictures of the donkry club we used to hold for the young lads and their donkeys.

This poor donkey was reported today and has been collected, he is in atrocious condition but has a hearty appetite so there is hope for him.

She refused to leave the injured donkey so she came too. Today a little ray of sunshine has brightened our lives in the form of a little baby boy. We hope this will help her with her grieving and that they will have a happy life ahead.

A few months ago we were called to a road traffic accident involving a female donkey. Sadly she was very badly injured and eventually had to be euthanised. Standing beside her was what we presume was her grown up daughter or maybe just a loyal friend?

They say it takes a village...... just before Christmas ALFS offered us this puppy food. I was travelling but Tina at Alfs needed the space. I mentioned it to Kathy Sharman who offered to collect and store it until I can collect it..

Our Makasutu centre opened 9 years ago. Since then we have treated thousands of animals and helped to train many students. There have been a few ups and downs, but our team should be very proud of what they have achieved.

Abdourahman teaching some children how to clean a dogs ears. It's always best to teach owners how to carry out routine procedures. We shall have future generations of pet owners who can do the basic care themselves.

We are thrilled to say that this donkey was reported to us by the Sanyang Police. It has an ear injury that is maggot infested. The staff are on their way to collect it. We would like to give BIG thanks to the police for setting such an excellent example. Thank you.

It is wonderful to have school visits. On Saturday Yalding Basic Cycle School came time visit us. A good time was had by all and if just one or two children had their eyes opened on the benefits that animals bring to the world, then it is progress.

He told me about "a moment of kindness" . If you can give as many moments of kindness as you can, it makes others happy and makes you feel good too. If everyone did that then the world may begin to heal.

Let us hope that 2026 will be a better year for the world in general and that it will bring you everything you hope for. I recently asked someone for whom I have the utmost admiration and respect how it was that he was able to leave everyone he spoke to feeling happier.
