Parents- Giving a scouting report on your kid, trying to sound like a PBR/PG “scout” is not a good look. If your kid “has the ability to hit for power to all fields” or is a “special athlete”, someone else will say it. It doesn’t hold much weight coming from you.

I’m okay with hitting a ball far, and watching it for a couple steps. That’s the reward of hitting a ball that far. You don’t have to bust ass out the box and down the line. But you walk 3/4 down the line, throw your bat 20 ft in the air and make it all about YOU. You’ll get hit.

1.) 4 years ago I picked up @BrannonJordan12 for my 16u team. He was 76-78 touched 80 as a sophomore. I picked him up bc the arm worked and I liked him as a kid. I thought he had a chance. Very shortly after I picked him up I realized this kid was going to be special.
