Hey @UberEats I ordered breakfast to be delivered from McDonalds 45 minutes ago. There was a courier and then there wasn’t. Waiting at a garage whilst car serviced. Once it’s finished I’ll be gone. Can’t cancel on the @McDonaldsUK app they say contact you. How can I cancel?

Well that’s work done for the year (well back in Friday afternoon). Last dinner of the year on the stove. Tomorrow will now be doing the cleaning and ironing I had planned for last Sunday before Dreaded Lurgey changed my plans. Nice and quiet just how I like it… 😊

Trying to cancel dental appointment as I’m poorly. Three times I’ve tried and three times their system has cut me off, most recently after 30 minutes. Today’s the only day they’re open before Friday’s appointment. Hopefully I’ll get through eventually…

Football, Court and dentist all cancelled. Hoping another hot bath will help. Got the shivers and a cracking headache, second day in bed. Hopefully car alarm doesn’t go off at 01-30 again !

Had one of those chats with my late mother this evening, as tomorrow’s the third anniversary of her passing. Tomorrow won’t be easy. There are a few things that get me, particularly how grateful she said she was for looking after her. How could I not? I miss her terribly 🥲

Going to have a soak in the bath. Shivering, hot, dreaded lurgey doing its thing. Been in bed much of the day. Bloke with a cold really is serious! Working Monday to Wednesday so hopefully head a bit clearer in the morning. WFH and fridge full so no need to shop…
