Graduate Women in Science is hosting a trivia night at the Michigan Wildlife Conservatory (6380 Drumheller Rd, Bath MI). Admission is $10 per team, maximum of four people a team. Hope to see you there!

Meet our next board member spotlight — our wonderful Secretary, Dawson! You probably recognize her from the biweekly newsletters she sends out. Dawson is currently studying in the Department of Computational Mathematics, Science, and Engineering.

Time for our next board introduction, Aubree! Aubree is our current treasurer, and they have held this position for two years. She has also served as vice president in the past. They are completing their studies in the Department of Anthropology.

Our fall general body meeting is Tuesday, September 23rd from 5-6pm in the Biomedical and Physical Sciences building room 1300. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to join, become more involved, and meet more people. Plus, there is free food! See you then!

GWIS is collaborating with Biology on Tap! The event begins Friday, May 30th at 7:00 pm at the Michigan Willdlife Conservancy (6380 Drumheller Rd, Bath Twp, MI). GWIS will host three rounds of science trivia ($10/team), but there are several other fun-filled activities planned!

Another great Girls Math and Science Day! On March 1st, GWIS hosted our annual GMSD, an event for middle schoolers. Special thanks to keynote speaker Dr. Grace Smith-Vidaurre, our guest speaker Julia Louisignau, and all the volunteers who helped make this day possible!
