As many of you might have already heard, the OirthirSAT team from the GU Orbit family was announced the winner of the #Nanosatdesigncompetition organised by @spacegovuk and department of Transport. We congratulate the team and thank everyone who has been part of this journey.

Cloud view reached over 38 km in height during a 3 hour journey. We would like to thank @Keysighttechnologies for lending us their oscilloscope, without your ongoing support we would not have been able to achieve this.

GU Orbit is holding an event on Thursday the 21st of September at 18:00 in the James McCune Smith Learning Hub at the University of Glasgow. During this event we will have a small talk outlining the different teams and their roles in building a satellite.

We had a wonderful visit to the @AACClydeSpace facilities, and we would like to thank them. AAC Clyde Space is a company that specialises in small satellite technologies and services. The visit was full of incredible talks showcasing their work and a tour of their facilities.

We would like to thank @UKSEDS for inviting us to have a stand at the National Student Space Conference (NSSC). During our time there we got to learn about student-led projects and meet experts from across the aerospace industry. We already look forward next year's event!

Last Friday we had a Full Team Meeting. The evening started with presentations about updates on CloudView and Astraeus. Then, the two teams that represented GU Orbit in the Airbus competition gave a presentation. Finally, the night ended with a social full of fun activities.

The tools covered during the workshop were approaches that are becoming more popular for engineering of complex systems,especially in the Space industry. So,when the rest of the Team got an invite,they showed up in numbers. We will host more of such workshops. So stay tuned!(3/3)
