The Colonia South Service Area at milepost 133 in Woodbridge will close for construction at 10 tonight and remain closed until 10 p.m. Thursday. No food, fuel, or restrooms will be available at the location during the closure, and all parking areas will be closed.

Repairs are continuing on a sink hole that opened this afternoon on the right shoulder of the northbound Express lanes just south of the Jon Bon Jovi Service Area. The work is expected to be completed tonight. Earlier delays in the northbound Local lanes have cleared.

The Jones Road Wildfire in Ocean County, NJ was at ~12,000 acres and 35% contained as of 1pm on 4/23/25. *All photos/video in this thread were gathered from an aerial surveillance flight at approx. 10am on 4/23/25. Conditions have proved since.

I am declaring a State of Emergency in Ocean County due to the Jones Road Wildfire in the Greenwood Forest Wildfire Management Area near Lacey, Ocean, and Barnegat Townships. At this time, we have no loss of life and no homes have been harmed.
