900 Block Josephine Boyd Street Closure Underway The 900 block of Josephine Boyd Street at Campus Drive has one northbound lane closed due to an 8-inch water main break. Work is expected to be completed, and the lane reopened, by 5 pm today.

Road Closures Continue All eastbound lanes of E Bessemer Avenue between Yanceyville and Cypress streets are closed due to stormwater infrastructure repairs caused by previous main breaks. The estimated time for the lanes to reopen is 5 pm.

On Mon, Sept 8, & continuing through Mon, Nov 24, Center St from Victory to Town Streets will have lane closures & delays from 7 am to 4 pm. See the map for locations. Signs and traffic cones will be in place please use alternate routes to avoid the areas.

If you notice discoloration or cloudy water coming from your tap after the repairs, run cold water for a few minutes through a faucet without an aerator, such as an outside spigot or bathtub, until clear. For emergencies, call Water Resources 24-hour Dispatch at 336-373-2033.
